It seeks to mobilize levers for its restoration and limit its degradation. As of July 4, 2018, its objective is to improve the daily lives of French citizens and their future.<\/p>\n<p>The plan is structured around six strategic priorities, 24 objectives, and 90 actions. It addresses the fight to preserve and restore biodiversity in its entirety :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Restoring biodiversity in local areas : curbing the artificialization of natural and agricultural spaces and restoring biodiversity areas.<\/li>\n<li>Building an economy with zero pollution and low impact on biodiversity : reconciling economic development and biodiversity conservation<\/li>\n<li id=\"scroll-nav__4\">Protecting and restoring nature in all its forms : strengthening action on the most threatened ecosystems.<\/li>\n<li>Developing an ambitious European and international roadmap for biodiversity.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge, education, and training : mobilizing all stakeholders and citizens around these issues.<\/li>\n<li>Improving the effectiveness of biodiversity policies: towards more efficient implementation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>Source : French<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecologie.gouv.fr\/plan-biodiversite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Ministry of Ecological Transition<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1097\"><strong>ECT&#8217;s expertise is fully in line with this approach.<\/strong><br \/>\nThanks to the circular economy of excavated soil, ECT contributes to :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1232\"><strong>Limit artificialization<\/strong> by redeveloping brownfield sites, quarries, or abandoned land instead of opening up new spaces.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1328\"><strong>Restoring living soils<\/strong> to recreate green corridors and promote biodiversity..<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1461\"><strong>Rehabilitate land for agricultural or natural use<\/strong>, restoring ecological and economic value to the territories..<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1660\">Each project, designed in collaboration with local authorities and stakeholders, embodies the ambitions of the Biodiversity Plan : useful, sustainable developments that are integrated with the needs of the regions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Biodiversity Plan aims to strengthen France&#8217;s efforts to preserve biodiversity.
