These thresholds ensure that only low-impact soils are used for backfilling or reclamation. The main regulated metallic elements include : Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Arsenic (As), Mercury (Hg), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn) and Nickel (Ni).
