Today, the fate of tons of soil moved to plant construction sites. Large volumes.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the story of a guy who digs a hole. A second guy comes along and asks, &#8220;And where are you going to put the dirt?&#8221; And the first guy replies, &#8220;In another hole.&#8221; On any building or public works site, the hole is the first operation to be carried out. But as there&#8217;s no question of digging a second one to pour in the soil, the fate of the tons of minerals to be managed is no small matter.<br \/>The question of spoil takes us deep behind the scenes of urban manufacturing, the kitchen we never hear about. As soon as there&#8217;s a building permit, there&#8217;s going to be excavated soil,&#8221; explains Laurent Mogno, President of ECT, a leader in the collection, processing and use of soil from construction sites.
