The situation is only getting worse. Illegal dumping, a national scourge, is on the increase. Illegal occupancy of land has led to intensive illegal dumping. These acts of incivility destroy the landscape and the environment. Diagnostics and waste removal are costly for public authorities. The same goes for site rehabilitation and redevelopment. It’s against this backdrop of support for local authorities that the Ile-de-France Region organized the 2nd Forum de lutte contre les d\u00e9p\u00f4ts sauvages on December 3, 2020, in the form of a webinar.<\/p>\n

    \"Municipalities are at a real disadvantage when it comes to illegal land occupation. In this case, 300 people occupied the premises. Fly-tipping activities began very quickly, with no real possibility of intervention to stop the waste traffic. In this case, the occupation lasted 5 months, and the deterioration of the site is significant, leaving the commune in a situation that is very difficult to resolve. The Prefecture intervened to evacuate the occupants, but was unable to solve the waste problem.

    The ECT model for reusing soil from urban construction sites to repair wasteland<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    ECT finances the project with excavated soil from nearby urban construction sites. The ECT project at Boissy\/Puiseux aims to “heal” this badly damaged landscape. The proposed approach takes into account all the site’s constraints: landscape, ecological and hydraulic issues. On a site and regional scale. <\/span>It is structured around 3 axes:<\/span><\/p>\n
