This afternoon was an opportunity for ECT to raise students’ awareness of the issues involved in the circular economy of excavated soil from urban construction sites. With a very local example : the development of a new park in Buchelay, located behind the Plaine des Sports Grigore-Obreja. Once the soil has been brought in, the park will be landscaped and fitted out, including the installation of sports equipment, street furniture and a p\u00e9tanque court. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The school’s 80 pupils actively<\/span> participated in the planting of the green spaces <\/span>.<\/p>

Dressed in aprons and equipped with shovels, the children planted the embankments. Nearly 1,000 bare-root seedlings were planted. A mix of forest plants such as Dog Rose, Hazelnut, Dogwood, Blackthorn and Privet help to create wooded areas within the park currently under development. <\/span><\/p>

This convivial moment was shared with the Mayor of Buchelay, St\u00e9phane Tremblay. He joined in the activity, sharing this enriching moment with the children.<\/p>

A park designed for everyone :\u00a0<\/span>the children immediately took to the site, confirming that the park is part of the range of green spaces and sports facilities that the town council wishes to offer its residents. A place for relaxation and leisure accessible to all. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
