Planting the new park in Houdain (62), an educational and ecological project

At the invitation of the town hall, ECT teams met with pupils from LĂ©on Blum elementary school to introduce them to sustainable development and biodiversity. Schoolchildren, protagonists of their region 23 January 2025 –   60 students from the LĂ©on Blum school planted 700 trees. They were actively involved in the planting of the new ChaussĂ©e Brunehaut park. Accompanied by teams from Noeux Environnement, they contributed to the planting of the park, which will include almost 1,500 trees. Wearing aprons and equipped with shovels, the children planted bare-root seedlings. This initiative also gave them a better understanding of ecological environments and biodiversity.
